Welcome to Kowloon and The Swapper are both ones I’ve had on my list and both are about $2. Why not?
Besides that, I’m going to try and play some more Baldur’s Gate 3 or Cyberpunk 2077 during the holidays, as I’m still in the early stages of both.
Is there any advice for Persona 3? It’s super confusing
I was looking at Fallout 76 since its 90% off but what’s the concensus on it? Plan is to play with the wife.
I was really positively surprised by it! Picked it up two years ago and thought I’d spend a couple of hours in it. I’ve spent almost 200 hours in Appalachia by now - one of my favourite comfort games!
I like it a lot. It’s not my favorite of the games, but I think it’s a great game whether played in a public lobby or not. I do usually prefer a private lobby, but not always.
Palworld. Even though it never goes below 20€

I spent way too long thinking “my body is a machine…” was the title of a game lol. Incredible meme.
Nothing, absolutely nothing. My backlog is huge with games that have hours to play.
This appears to be written in English, but I can’t make sense of it.
We must feed the backlog, always.
Number go up.
I bought two:
-
ACE COMBAT™7: SKIES UNKNOWN - $4.79 (Flying makes me hard)
-
Detroit: Become Human - $3.99 (always looking for something to experience with my barely-gamer s/o)
How is Detroit? I’m a barely gamer SO trying to find a co-op game that I enjoy
Just bought it yesterday, will update when we get into it!
Oh wow, that’s a great deal for DBH. I bought it for a bit more a few sales ago. Still haven’t played it yet, of course…
-
Y’all got any recs for “AI sandboxes” in the vein of Rimworld and Stellaris? Stellaris is just borked now, and I’ve modded/played the hell out of Rimworld.
Dwarf fortress :)
Zomboid?
- Shape of Dreams: Need to scratch that hack n slash itch. D4 is boring and PoE 2 ran horrible on my machine. New game but under $15.
- Cuphead: One of my kids has wanted to play this for years. Xmas present for him.
- Date Everything: The other kid wants this one. Xmas present. I dunno, man.
- The Seance of Blake Manor: Our family loves these kinds of games and it’s one of the only ways to get us all in a room. New game but under $15.
- Split Fiction: I hate the price still but my wife loved It Takes Two. Fiiiiiiine.
- Duck Detective The Secret Salami: Another family game.
- Echoes of the Plum Grove: I like this kinda stuff
- Capcom Fighting Collection 2: Man I love Power Stone.
- Astro Bot: Reviews are good enough to catch it on black friday deals.
- Spiderman 2: Loved 1 and Miles Morales.
Date Everything has the appeal of many known voice actors being involved in this silly story. It’s great fun to puzzle out all the voice lines - especially if youre fan of some of the actors.
I haven’t bought anything yet, but I’ve been compiling a short list of mostly DRPG games like the old Might and Magics that I’ve been playing, specifically ones that’ll work on the Deck nicely. It’s a genre I loved when I was younger that’s been rather missing from my modern collection.
- Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord
and/or
- Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls
- Legends of Amberland II
- Operencia: The Stolen Sun
- Songs of Conquest (not a DRPG, but a great-looking spiritual successor to Heroes of Might and Magic 3.)
And then on GoG, I might pick up a few real old ones, like Lands of Lore and/or Wizards & Warriors, but I don’t think those will be good for steam deck even through Heroic.
Songs of conquest is fantastic, definitely recommend.
I keep coming back to play it and they have been releasing solid new content, such as new factions
Ooh, Wildermyth looks pretty tempting too…
Late to this thread.
Grabbed Slay the Spire and Green Hell. Both all-time low.
Thinking of picking up Catherine Classic + the NOexistenceN of you AND me. Don’t know if I have time to play those two with Persona 5 Royal and RDR2 in my backlog.
Slay the Spire for less than 3€ is amazing
I got Fallout 4’s DLC - primarily so I can play Fallout London. I also picked up X4: Foundations, and Fallout 76 as well. All were pretty heavily discounted.
Is Fallout London easy to mod on Steam? I read that it requires some extra step, compared to GOG? And since I have the Deck only, do you know if it is easy to install it on the Deck?
Also curious about this. I didn’t want to do a whole new play through with a gog one but don’t really want the hassle of setting up the London mod with my steam version. Been holding off until I get more time to mess with it but the longer I go the more likely I just suck it up and start over on gog.
I have Fallout 4 but not the mods, plus 200Gb of free space is kind of rich, so I would better know how well it runs and if it is really worth it.
I’m thinking about grabbing…
Star birds
Last caretaker
And rv there yet
I’m also eyeballing planet Crafter, and a couple others on my wish list that dropped below $10.
I’ve also wanted to pick up ultra kill for a while but I never see it on sale for under $20 (Canadian schmeckles)…
Some that I’m still waiting to see come down in price to something more reasonable…
Horizon: forbidden West
Split fiction
Borderlands 4.
Even on discount, these are well over $40.
Planet crafter is amazing. Don’t wait, grab it and play!
My friends and I played through RV There Yet just last month. Hilariously awesome game but very hard to solo. Definitely recommend with friends.
Oh god. The amounts of hours I’ve sunk into planet crafter is midly embarrassing. Well worth a punt.
I picked up Ikaruga. I can feel the input delay, but it’s still fun.
I’ll be patient and keep waiting for EDF 6 currently 56% off and that is still too much of $79 full price. If it goes down to 75 % off I’ll buy it.
