I really don’t understand this use case at all. What would be the point of something like this other than because. I mean if you’re going to stream, which it makes it sound like this is what it’s supposed to be for, you’ve got all kinds of software already to do this without a 2K enclosure.
Hook it up to a NAS and roll your own GeForce Now? Or am I misreading the headline or misunderstanding the point of this?
What is the use case for something like this? All that comes to mind is if you want to connect the display in a different room than the machine. But then you could just use one of those wireless HDMI dongles.

Like, if you have a PC this is the dumbest thing ever, but it being able to live where ever and not physically having to plug a laptop in is pretty huge. If you’re within wifi range, you get the benefit of the GPU.
Still a waste of money, but dumb rich people are the only ones buying 5090s anyways.
Like, it’s already the point where money doesn’t really matter for anyone buying this. We’re gonna see a lot more of this as wealth inequality increases, the wealthy are the only ones with disposable income, and they have a lot of it
