Interesting. Its been awhile since I played it, but I recall that it didn’t have a rate limit. So the CPU would simply go to max all the time. Maybe it was causing the system to get too hot?
I doubt it was anything temperature related, I mean I highly doubt it was overheating on emulating this old game with 360mm AIO plus when I say crash, I mean this thing would crash basically on startup after flickering on screen for a few seconds.
Maybe it was windows 10 that I was running at the time, maybe it was just my particular hardware at the time, who knows.
Now that I’m back on Linux and a new system I’ll give it another shot but I’ll probably just wait for the remaster as I’m approaching the end of the year annual adventure game replay itch.
One of my favorite adventure games and really hard to get stable with emulation so I’m actually pretty excited about this.
I got the original from gog and had no issues running it on linux.
I also have it on my gog library but for me and my system at the time it would crash like no ones business.
