That sounds like a lot… Until you zoom out. They’re only down 1.5% over six months, and YTD they’re still up over 100%.

So far this just seems more like a minor correction, than a bubble popping.

Yup, if this doesn’t continue deflating, it could just signal to semiconductors not to increase capacity to hedge against oversupply, while they continue to focus entirely on the data center market.

A company builds a market to sell its products by filling a need. Cunsumers but those producs using money that represents their time and effort spent at work. Then the companies work to develop new hardware to replace the jobs where consumers usally transmuted their work into money to pay for products…but no biggie! Other companies can pay way more money than consumers so reroute your company products to that new market. However consumers are no longer making money and their kids cannot study to replace their parents at the non existant jobs now. So there is no market for any product since there are no consumers and there won’t be any in the future. So ok go back to making gaming hardware! Except China has already beaten you to that market. So what next?

Don’t you see the trend? Price up, production down. Less people get more, more people get less. Also reduce total human head count as bonus.
