Valve have released an update that should give you just a little bit more clarity on when you can expect to get a Steam Frame, plus the CAD files are out now.

    Even without the CAD files there have been some decent printable accessory options. I managed to rig up some great controller straps for next to no cost

        It could always go down! Lot’s of people wishlist and then cancel anyway. So people who are on the reservation list might decide not to purchase in the end. I know a lot of waitlisted people moved to reservation recently.

      Not really. Looks like exterior shell only - so it’s mainly useful for designing accessories.

      Nah, it’s for people who want to design accessories. They also at the same time released information regarding how to connect things using the available interfaces.
