It should be noted that the new content comes with new system requirements for the base game and the expansion. Windows 11 is going to become a requirement and the minimum CPU requirements have been updated to match Windows 11’s.
Interesting. I wonder if it’s going to be possible to get it going on Linux, it might be time to switch over my desktop to it.
The rest of the requirements I think I clear with a margin
wow, “AMD Ryzen 5 2600” is literally the processor i am using right now, i think it is also 12 years old lol.
i am on windows 10 though. thankfully i do have a gaming computer that is recent. i understand everyone wont.there really isn’t a precedent for system requirements on a 12-year-old game. on one hand, sure we want to make it available to everyone who has the same PC from the base game, but on the other hand, making a game today for yesterday’s computer is tedious and most would prefer they take advantage of newer tech.
i’m in the camp that is freakin stoked that they are doing this period.
Ew, no. They already screwed me over with the trilogy. They don’t get any more money from me
They already screwed me over with the trilogy.
How?
First game was hot garbage. I don’t get how CDPR managed to stay solvent long enough to make a second game, let alone a third. The stance system was horribly though out.
Then the 3rd game’s logic for whether you get the good/bad/neutral ending was also terrible, and the main split happens 20 hours before then end of the game. Not only that, to get the good ending you have to completely skip multiple scenes. Completely stupid, and ruins the entire game.
The way I see it, CDPR owes me at least one full priced game with how much of my time and money they wasted on this bullshit. They don’t get a dime from me until that balance is cleared, and I include GOG in that boycott.
Theres multiple endings? I was too being just enjoying the game to care.
wat. this good. so good. how can anyone say bad?
Because it sucks. Deal with it
