      Seconded…

The amount of normal ass encounters that checkmate certain builds is infuriating. I’m tired of building a “good card pile”. Let me play with the new cards more!

Entomancer and this douche make me skip shivs, meanwhile only smog (and queen sometimes) kills the soul spam deck.

All I know is the Phantasmal Gardener (four worms fight) is my new Gremlin Nob. I’m desperate to find an AOE or big burst card before I start hitting Act 1 elites because that asshole has tanked my run more than once now

I played before and after the patch without even knowing they did a balance patch and didn’t really find it any different than before. Only after I looked at the patch notes was I like “oh yeah, that was a little different” and went on to play a couple more runs.

All I’m saying is, in general, most people probably do not even notice. I used to play Overwatch with my friends and would never pay attention to balance updates. I’d be playing my favorite heroes and my friends would say halfway through the game “oh yeah, did you see [blank] got nerfed?” And unless the update was dramatically different I’d literally be like “really? Seems fine to me.”

Although, some of the main enemies should really be elites. But I’m sure we all agree on that.

Mega Crit are well known for their use of data for balancing - it’s arguably one of the reasons why Slay the Spire 1 has been such a success.
