Arnt compatability layers different then emulation? One interfaces directly with the software thru said compat layer and the other pretends to be the thing it’s meant to run on.
It’s important not to confuse emulator with hardware emulator. (Sadly, this confusion has been common on social media in recent years.)
A system can emulate another system without emulating hardware.
The presentation made it sound like Lepton would only help Android apps be usable on the Frame.
I wish I could sideload an APK to Steam and be able to run the Android app on Bazzite. Like Proton but for Android.
Waydroid
It comes bundled with Bazzite, but it’s not as good as Proton works. Lepton would be a far better solution.
