Excellent, thanks for the input.

https://flathub.org/en/apps/io.mrarm.mcpelauncher is this the launcher you’re using?
But in Java you can’t play with anyone that might be playing on a console though, correct?

Check your warranty. I recently found a bad stick I bought years ago. Turns out lots of ram has a lifetime warranty
No worries. Appreciate the input
It’s why I’m looking for a non Bluetooth solution. My old steam controller with it’s dedicated transmitter works great
I do have a hardware issue. The onboard Bluetooth on my gigabyte motherboard is extremely unstable. I’ve got some workarounds but it seems like it’ll be easier to just get dedicated controllers and transmitters. Once a controller is connected it’s usually fine but it’ll take 10 minutes of resetting Bluetooth, turning off internal Bluetooth, repair, remove remembered devices, etc etc until it works. I’m worn down trying to look for answers and waving a white flag.
I was planning on waiting for the steam controller but today I had a mental break down trying to re-pair everything from my kids changing devices. It would probably be easy usually but my Bluetooth is bogus. Best solution is dedicated controller transmitter imo but don’t know if I have the patience to wait

I’m not an expert but… Bazzite is based on fedora so most fedora command lines will work the same in bazzite. Most. Since bazzite is immutable it’s not going to let you change some of the system files which might be frustrating but it’s like that to prevent breakage. Bazzite also has specific bazzite command line stuff like ujust. You could also run nobara which is also fedora based gaming distro but it’s not immutable. So you have freedom to break things but also get built in driver’s and stuff. I’ve had better luck with bazzite but it’s an option. Good luck
Yeah but my bios is dumb and doesn’t have that setting
Down the right road but I think I’ll need to specify what Bluetooth to turn off. Unless baz won’t recognize my USB Bluetooth

No problem! I spent a lot of time over the holidays trying to figure out all our myself. If you have other questions feel free to reach out and I’ll help if I can.

Yeah no problem. I just tried opening arc raiders under my wife’s steam account (which she’s never played) and it opened as if no one has ever played the game. It brought me to the "create embark id’ page.
Edit: now that I’m thinking about it, I also played ‘the last campfire’ which other family members had played and it started me off fresh
Edit 2: I really think the only time saves will be an issue is if it’s a non steam game. Like if you set up emudeck, I’m not sure how those saves work. Or any other non steam game you import to your library.

Not yet but everyone has been playing different games so far. I’d imagine each steam acvount would have their own save unless it was a non steam game

You can set steam to boot into big picture mode. I just went through this. Single bazzite user with no password login and auto start steam with multiple profiles for different users in the home. Steam you’ll need to set up family library to share games. Most will work in this mode but some won’t because they are jerks. If you need Windows you can get bazzite to put a link within steam so you don’t even need to set up grub to switch between the different OS’s. I can’t remember what it’s called but if you browse the installed programs you’ll see one that says something along the lines of bazzite tweaks or extras or something. Loads of good things in there
Edit: it’s called bazzite portal setup. Super handy
I had no idea this was a triggering topic! I didn’t even know what the editions were before this thread.
