Prices are so up that even when it bursts, they will go to normal ones. I mean price per GB was normal to go down, and now for 1st time in history it went up.

Same and worse for RAM.

Its like we are 15 years back for RAM and like 10 years back for HDDs.

Cheapest solution is an HDD + one more for backups. M-Discs for 15-17€ per 100GB are for the games you wanna take to your grave.

This is what I think when I read the “support the developers, buy their games” when the publishers are big corpos…

Price is crazy. 6 months ago would be around 35-50% less…

Cores is bigger news for me. Last gen dies had 6 to 16 cores and now they go 12 to 24.

Well as long as you plug the cartridges in the system once every 5-10 years.

Handmade clothes may be not the norm but they are not extinct. Dresses, scarfs and accesorising can be found handmade. Luxury market is in majority handmade.

The point is that the label is not pointless. It exist and will exist in the future. I just hope that games with human art won’t be considered a luxury.

I dont know about the future, but a “No AI-Art” tag, makes sense to me.

Your controller stays mostly in your house and can be charged with a cable. No need for recharging devices, thinking if you have stored charged batteries, it can play while charging.

And if 20 years later you can find a replace battery for a ps3 controller that means your device probably can live for 30 years or more.

What benefits bring the rechargeable AA batteries for that particular device?

Batteries for PS3 Dualshock are still available on ebay in my country. You just unplug a cable and remove a couple of screws. AA are not worth it.

AA should only used for flashlights (emergency), kids toys (safety) or when you are far away from an electricity network for much time (days, weeks).

If they release Half Life 3 day 1 of Steam Machine launch, Linux gonna get so much attention, probably biggest bang of the decade.

Yeah, it sucks. A major reason that I abandoned Nintendo’s Switch 2, and returned to PC after playing in Switch for some years. I used to pay 30-50€ for AAA, but they wanted people to jump to 70-80€.

For me cost of living went up but cost of games down. I mostly play indie games now since i find big AAA games not that interesting with one maybe two exceptions per year.

I mean that although the good shows got removed by the other competitors and streaming got downhill with that, they increased prices, put ads, removed account sharing and their only focus is profit.

Edit: also they removed shows by themselves to countries that the particular shows were not that popular just to save money. That started before the rise of other streaming platforms.

Steam kinda killed gaming piracy for many. Hope they won’t go the Netflix way in the future.

I bet their lawyers have cost more than the whole Palworld production.
