The way the game treats players time as something you can just throw in a dumpster was really… a choice that was made. I really wonder if the higher ups actually played the end game at all, it was miserable.

Dune Awakening had sooo much potential but they could not make simple changes to make the game 10 times better and that resulted in a player exodus once the story completes.

I had a similar time stop in RL but shorter. Imo its bad memory or cpu or drivers. If works in windows prly not hardware. I think mine went sway after cpu swap.

This comment makes me think of Dune Awakening which had so many movement related bugs and no first person view. Somehow just the engine seems too awful for developers to use. Or maybe just picking it is a sign you dont care about the game

Weird, mine has been fine on a mix of linux computers, one had some power or thermal issues resulting in instant power off, but the game works. Lord knows ive spent more than a few 5 hr runs just building the base lol.

Weird. I wud expect it to work well on proton 10 as well but im using GE proton via steam tinker launch so that bakkes mod can load on the side…

I would try changing proton versions and maybe delete and re create the wine prefix that rocket league is pointed at. I see nothing in the logs…

There are some differences in what can be installed, like steam has a list and lutris has a list of which orotons can be installed, some of those are in common. I would recommend downloading protonupqt lutris and steam and play with them for a bit.

You shouldn’t need Steam but protonup-qt can be used to manage lutris proton

Really? When I tried it stopped working at the first real multiplayer part and said some sort of Anti cheat error message before quitting. That would be big if true.

I would say just try it. If you can master slash shot - jump slash switch to gun shoot - you can fight with guns. And sword you just need butterfly to be able to fight. I saw further down that you dont like that it is about glitches. But this is emergent gameplay. The devs never intended to create a game like this, but the players made it into our own thing by discovering all the glitches.

Edit. Even with out that there are so many guns and ways to play. I know some people who run around in gun games using only the dagger. Some people with a stun grenade and flamethrower, just press 2 buttons and the enemy vanishes without any glitches.

It lives on at Fgunz.net and I think there are some others. Skill curve the same, maybe more difficult because ppl are so good (not me).
