I’m worried about reverse engineering field getting outnumbered by those fly-by-night LLM users replacing the existing enthusiasts. I really hope that won’t happen but really we need to fight against those LLM users to keep it rolling and maintained by someone care about their project.

So true. “You cannot escape AI” is simply not true as there are many FOSS projects explicitly banning usage of LLMs. By thinking this way you just give up to even trying fighting against it. This is such a defeatist logic and harmful to FOSS ecosystem in general.
