Isn’t this a Nintendo thing from like the 2000s? Why would you even need to use AI when you could just use a recording of one of your testers doing it or (crazy thought) just using a “skip this” button? This seems like a dumb way to shoe-horn AI into something that doesn’t make sense.


Which is a pretty arbitrary naming convention since the number of pins in a socket doesn’t really tell you anything especially when that naming convention does NOT get applied to the processors that plug into them.


As a person that generally buys either mid-tier stuff or the flagship products from a couple years ago, it got pretty fucking ridiculous to have to figure out which socket made sense for any given intel chip. The apparently arbitrary naming convention didn’t help.
Looks like someone figured out that most of the cheapo temu handheld emulators are either compatible with (or already run) various flavors of Linux already and decided to cash in on the linux gaming surge.
My $15 R36S also runs linux and didn’t need a kickstarter.
The modular I/O accessories are pretty neat though.
