I could have sworn there was something like that a long time ago but maybe not for ps 2 and it might have been snowboarding not skateboarding… hard to say since my memory is kind of fuzzy

The Skate franchise started on PS3 (don’t remember if it was on other platforms) and was basically a more “realistic” skateboard game where instead of just using button combos, you were able to do tricks with the analog controls of the DualShock3 controllers. People really enjoyed the first 3 games. This is a reboot, but with the severe downturn EA has taken over the last 10+ years, I wouldn’t really bother putting too much hope in it being good.
