Also look at the efficiency numbers. I grabbed a 9800, but think in retrospect the micro-center-only x3d chip might have been a better choice. The 9800 x3d throws off a lot of heat, and that definitely heats up the room / drives up electricity bill.

Thank you for the detailed advice

I looked up the commands. Does systemd-resolved normally run - or would this be starting a new service?

Yup! I have a 2.4 ghz ssid and same issues

I tried editing powersave.conf config file to turn that off. That - as of a few years ago - seemed to be causing ping spikes. No dice so far.

there’s a hallway. cant run along floor or ceiling without being visible.

Stop killing games? Hard to believe that StarCraft had this issue solved and we still can’t figure it out for newer games

I get a bug with putting mine to sleep - becomes unresponsive and have to manual shutdown. So I’ve disabled sleep. With modern ssds, there is very little downtime on startup. 30-60s or so. No reason not to just shut down and save power.
What’s your distro? And to a nintendo pro controller? I tried Bluetooth CTL but it gave the same error as the GUI.
Are you connecting the pro controller to Linux? Which distro version etc?

Does it work that way? Or do you have to make sure there’s not the files hanging in a folder somewhere?

… At his dorm. He can have his shit laptop for notes and his rig for gaming. Because he’s not going to be pwning noobs in cs in his lecture hall.

Um… Why have you forgotten about Mexico? That’s like the land of hot sauce. See what you can import.

My takeaway is start planning trips to Taiwan so you can go buy comp hardware bit by bit at a reasonable price
When you can, consider getting another ssd. Its helpful to run it in RAID or at least occasionally back everything up to the spare SSD.
In terms of watercooling: The AIO coolers have a specific lifespan of 3-5 yrs. Most can’t be refilled. So, air coolers are the install-once option and water cooling requires more messing around.
Try searching around for the motherboard and linux and see what people’s issues have been.
