The scrappy indie store itch.io is facing a problem - lots and lots of AI slop getting uploaded to it, but they're attempting to fight back against it.
It’s a strategy of manipulation to write a headline in a way that headline readers will get the wrong idea despite the headline technically not being wrong, and also making people that do read the article to already hop in with a bias.
Interestingly if you do want to know there’s a neat article attached to the headline that has information on it.
