CD project red never forgot how bad they launched this game. They’ve been making up for it all this time. It’s time you considered forgiving them.
Companies are not your friends, there’s nothing to “forgive”. Companies are motivated by profit, not goodwill.
That said, I think the initial reception was a bit blown out of proportion and anyone who avoids playing this out of spite is an idiot and missing out because it’s a great game ( and has been, since the first paches rolled out in 2020 ).
goodwill can be exchanged for profit, people won’t be as willing to preorder a game if they don’t have any goodwill towards the company.
I played the game through after the Phantom Liberty expansion and I had the most fun I have had with a game in a long time. I played through three times with different endings, the amount of ending variation was truly incredible. Great RPG, great storytelling, and great gameplay. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes ARPG.
How long does it take for a play through?
I would only play an hour or two after work because I have a big family and lots of responsibilities. It took me about a month per playthrough. I would say minimum 30 hours but more like 50 if you take your time.
Awesome, thanks! I want to give this game a try but it’s tough to commit to with limited time for gaming. 😕
I felt a genuine lack when it was over.
Yes, I didn’t mention this but, I decided to stop playing after my third playthrough. It was actually a bit of an emotional decision and I missed playing because I had spent so much time enjoying the game over three or so months. That is how I knew it was a good game.
Wow, this is a huge update
Dang it, but I’m still in the middle of a new Witcher 3 Remastered Death March run. And Ace Combat 8. And Galactic Racers. Now I gotta add another Cyberpunk playthrough? Fine.
Now I’m almost sad I can’t play the game again as I almost got to 100% and played all possible side quests.
It gets boring fast on a 2nd playthrough,if you already finished everything.
Playthru 1 is for stealth sniping and 100%’ing every area.
Playthru 2 is for getting that slow-down-time implant and killing everything that moves with a sword while never stopping a full on sprint.
Currently doing a mix of both, found an insane 300% head shot sniper and honestly I really don’t need anything else. Well, till I need to reload and then go slice everyone up before they can even see me :3.
I just really wish the new update worked on my pc. My graphics card is apparently too old for the needed update, but somehow my steam deck is just fine. It just means playing at extremely low quality on the deck :').
(No it’s not mods, boy does that make it hard to find a solution)
I got bored during the first playthrough itself. Johnny is annoying as fuck.
Every character in Cyberpunk 2077 is annoying as fuck, including V. V might actually be the most annoying character in the entire game, if you ask me.
Mods for PS5, a new radio station, dual wield pistols, more quests. Nice.
You didn’t have me until new quests. There’s nothing much on my map anymore. I did everything including the races, they aren’t really fair though since I just blow 3 opponent vehicles up at the start line.
Only a few of them, the tarot card quests will take you all over the map though. If you use it as a chance to explore it’ll help extend the time played having fun
Is that finding the tarot card graffiti? I’ve already found all those.
I see it is new cards to find so that will be nice to go around and find.
Whoa, the Metal updates! Finally!
I played CP2077 for the first time in 2025 & I thought it was a fantastic game in a sea of mediocre action-adventure games. (and it’s way better than Witcher 3 imo)
I really want a mod that deletes Silverhand and his whole plotline. I’ve played it, gotten all of the endings, and now I want to never see or hear him ever again while I explore entirely different stories in this world. I’d love for expansions where you just play as someone else who isn’t V. It’s true that V is connected to basically all of the interesting stories, so I’m asking for a lot of work, or a really empty night city with only the ambient missions left. But that sounds fine to me.
Hmmm. I might actually pick this up again, now. 🤩
shame they didn’t add gyro aim to PC
So i can start playing the game?
Cyberpunk is a brilliant game after its rough start. CDPR has kept improving and fixing and adding tons of stuff, all for free. Also just a single dlc expansion that is really good as well.
Years ago
Wait for the remaster
