Acclaimed filmmaker Guillermo del Toro confirmed that he was involved in early concepts for a BioShock movie, but said the project was ultimately scrapped after a “disastrous” phone call.

What? Shrek is a PG movie for children… They wanted a PG-13 rating target. It’s the equivalent of T for teens in video games.
