Strider 2014. A metroidvania with some fun movement mechanics letting you stick to almost any surface, but the most satisfying thing is that no matter how fast you mash the attack button, the game keeps up with you, and the faster you slash, the more damage you can do. The gravity switching mechanics in the late game are also super fun.
I was about to instantly wishlist this until I heard Capcom went and added Enigma DRM to it eight years after the release.
Yes, yes, YES! This is a stellar game and thankfully they patched it work on modern PCs again
