Overall from 4.01% down to 3.9% (blue line)

But for English it stayed at exactly 8.42% (green line)

      Chinese New Years. A lot of people get time off in China around that time, so gaming cafes see a large spike in traffic. Each of the customer sessions have a chance of being counted in the survey, and they pretty much all run Windows, giving windows a matching spike in userbase in the same time window

      Probably sampling plays a large part.

      If most Linux use is Steam Deck, you’re going to see bumps and drops around stuff like vacation and travel times.

      You’ll see it bump when people don’t want to be at their desktop.

      So something like March break will bump steam Linux use due to form factors.
