Mate, you haven’t given us specs (GPU, CPU, memory, etc.), the distro you’re using, the version of Wine/Proton you are using, or any other information.
All you have said is that it is slow, which isn’t very helpful. Many different things can cause something to be slow!
There could be a CPU or GPU bottleneck, memory mismanagement, power profiles, fan curves (i.e thermal throttling), or hell, maybe you’re using a weird USB dock or adapter that doesn’t play nice with Linux. But without any information about your system, we can’t help you.
