Man the anti Linux users in the discussion are so weird. Like why simp for windows? are they upset the couldn’t get Linux running on their desktop?
“We support ARM hardware via x86 emulation”
Obligatory “wine is not an emulator”. So…
so wine IS an emulator!
You mean wie
No you see it’s only valve’s specific patches in proton that turn wine from not an emulator to an emulator. This is why wine doesn’t just accept proton’s patches making it obsolete /s
And GNU is Unix!
I keep seeing this game pop up, is this the new hot shit or just a flash in the pan streamer thing, I would love more old school battlefield shenanigans
I bought it for the Linux support as I like battlefield so I’ll let you know as a non streamer after the weekend.
Glad to see they’re officially supporting linux as an option. Looks like my kind of FPS, especially love the part of the trailer where they explicitly say they AREN’T a battle royale XD.
Day one support for a big fps
4 year ago we would have thought it to be impossible
Nice, need more games like this playable on Linux
Sounds kinda interesting. Fairly high system requirements but at least they do specify that gets you 60FPS.
Would probably wait for ProtonDB to fill out reports first.
They have to. Milsim players have a big linux playerbase.
Wait. It’s not arcade y like BF6?
a between. More arcadey than milsim more sim than bf
Honestly that is the kinda area that interests me. So far the main FPS games I like are the WW1 games like Isonzo and Enlisted in low rank games only - because high rank gives every rifleman a machine gun.
It looks like squad(which is the halfway between arma and BF) without the suppression mechanic.
Lossy needs to learn to write precisely:
⇒We only support the Proton emulation that may work in Linux.Support for actual Linux has to include at the least an .ELF.
