    So stupid. The posts say this was back in 2023 as well, so the slop writing would’ve been absolutely godawful compared to the work of even a half-decent professional writer. Even now the latest models are still painfully mediocre in their output.

    But:

    Either they changed direction at some point or they’re not disclosing it on Steam

    Demonstrates how Steam’s AI disclosures are basically useless if companies decide to simply not play along.

    Why would any developer voluntarily disclose the use of AI when all it will do is result in some people not purchasing the game? Might as well just make a lie of omission. It’s pure theatre.

      Because the backlash is much bigger when they don’t disclose and get found out. Also, we don’t know what Steam itself will do with publishers flaunting the rules.
