If there is the slightest online DRM this release is worthless. Sadly the article isn’t very clear on this.
But if it really has not DRM and the patches are freely available to download there is no reason to not release it on gog for example.
DRM free is my only reason to pay, but I don’t want to go back to physical media.
Of course it has fucking denuvo.
Physical media has never precluded DRM, quite the opposite it has constituted part of it.

Same here, often have to play on steam already while waiting for the dvd to arrive. I’m most proud of the physical release I got of the movie. It short circuited the tv from across the room.
