I’ve been rocking a mouse that has a broken middle mouse click from them that’s only like 3 years old so no. Thankfully the 4th and 5th buttons work so I can just remap to those buttons.
ONLY 3 years for a broken middle mouse click from Razer?
Get a lottery ticket. My friend used to take his Razer mouse back to the store on warranty every few months for various reasons, because it did break that often, and they still let him swap for the identical one or get a refund - in the latter case, he often picked another Razer mouse, just a more expensive one, paying a little extra.
I’ve been rocking Logitech G102 since the beginning of 2020 (at least) and so far the only thing I had to change was the cord. Still no double clicks, no missing registers, nothing.
That said, another friend I had suggested the mouse to after years of happily using mine, kept taking them to warranty for various reasons since 2022, and I think he quit on the thing after a few attempts. Maybe they don’t make them like they used to.
Their support blamed my friend swapping the SSD with another one for the main board dying. There was nothing wrong with the SSD. He put it in another computer and it worked just fine for years.
We will never even consider buying one of their piece of shit laptops again.
I have an older Razer Blade 13 that was a replacement for a lower end model that had battery issues. It was well within the warranty period (had it less than two months). I had been emailing their support for a couple weeks before getting tired of the wait and just tagged them on Twitter and asked for help. Had a replacement in less than 48 hours. Their actual support is trash, but the social media team seems to be the way to go when it comes to getting actual help.
EDIT: For clarification, I sent them back the bad one and hadn’t heard from them for awhile.
Did they finally fix the build quality?

Oh it broke like a year ago lol. Probably longer covid has fucked my perception of time forever.
I remember getting shitty mice from these assholes like 15 years ago. Little has changed apparently.
And unfuck their support?
i didnt know they had bad support too, yikes.

The main thing I’ve heard about them is if you want support from them, you’d better be an influencer.
lol
