    Zwei Gedanken weshalb ich bei libre bleibe, auch wenn ich die Entwicklung von Alternativen natürlich grundsätzlich begrüße

    1. Die Document Foundation (TDF) und LibreOffice-Mitgründer Italo Vignoli kritisieren scharf, dass Euro-Office standardmäßig auf Microsofts OOXML-Format setzt und das Projekt damit de facto ein Verbündeter von Microsoft sei

    2. Euro-Office basiert auf dem Code von OnlyOffice und ist damit potenziell von einem weiteren (teils proprietären) Ökosystem abhängig.

      I will wait for a big “try me out” button, which I could not find.

      Meanwhile, I see no reason to not keep using LibreOffice like I’ve been doing for some years, as it does all I want it to and helps me peacefully write away from MS Office ;)
