Fixed many EA games being unplayable after a recent EA Desktop update.
I didn’t think it was possible to make EA games playable.

I blacklisted everything with EA logo. Never buying anything from them again. Their anti consumer practices are just criminal

Fixed a crash in HELLDIVERS 2 happening in high enemy-count missions.

That’s just really good emulation at work. Alt+tab crashes tons of games in Windows, too!
I don’t recall ever having a game crash while alt tabbing on winblows. Happens all the time for helldivers

I’ve never used W11 as main OS, so there’s that
I was having it a bit towards the end of win 10, Linux has it a bit worse but that might have been me running with my CPU graphics enabled, it was really fucking with things.
Linux doesn’t seem to like alt tabbing when in exclusive full screen mode. Can mitigate by pressing alt+enter to go to windowed mode quickly then alt tab to your heart’s content… Till you forget to alt+enter.

We are not here to emulate everything from Windows, otherwise we would not need to. Ideally we emulate only what we need. :-)
WINE/Proton are translation layers. It is NOT emulating
And their approach is litteraly to make everything work even unused soft that got multiplatform release that date 20 year ago
