      Literally second paragraph:

Resident Evil Requiem has been around for about six weeks, and while pirates were technically able to get around the Denuvo DRM by running a virtual machine, or hypervisor, it was risky and complicated, requiring you to completely disable Windows security and Secure Boot. With voices38’s crack, though, you just have to modify the game’s .exe file, making it much safer to actually run.

The article is not talking about the HV bypass for the game. Voices38 released a proper crack for RE9 yesterday.

You don’t have a lot of reading comprehension. That first link is to a post where he says “all Denuvo games can be cracked”. RE9 has already been cracked - your second link is the NFO for the release.

I don’t know why you think it is a “modified version of a HV” (the NFO says nothing of the sort) - when it’s fundamentally a different method: it’s an actual crack that patches the .exe and doesn’t depend on windows HV or anything like that. It works on proton, unlike HV bypasses.

Since you’re quoting voices, you should know he’s been very vocal about HV not being “a real crack”, and he does it the old-fashioned way.
