My least favorite thing about the game is the visual style. If you told me a lot of it had to do with AI I’d believe it. It’s weird to look at and a lot of people just chalked it up to being a AA game, but it’s never quite sat right with me.

I also couldn’t get into HK despite loving Dead Cells and being on a real side-scroller kick at the time. Music was great but I just couldn’t care about the world. They you had the whole world going bonkers about Silksong for like 6 years… I lost any interest at that point.

I had the same thought lol

The exploration feels like running through corridors with the oft-side path that leads to an item. I’d say exploration was one of the game’s least interesting parts. I got very formulaic design vibes. I also just didn’t feel like a lot of the items you got were worth the extra time I took to go on the side paths or unlock the chests.

Totk for me. It’s been an enjoyable experience so far. BOTW is my favorite open world game of all time.

Love the remake trilogy. Still have to go get all the achievements for the second and third game. Now that there is a new Spyro game in development I can finally finish these ones. I was really savoring them because I’d never thought we’d see Spyro again.

I’d rather shell out of a 9070XT/5080 type card once every 5-6 years instead of a 3060 tier card once a generation.
I hope longer upgrade cycles for both companies will force more game optimizations and less ewaste over time.
I had really hoped my love for that game would translate to HK. I am excited for that new Castlevania game the creators of DeadCells are making. I’m sure it’ll be a banger.
