Try faugus launcher maybe, the games that I had issues with (pirated, wouldnt launch) all worked instantly with that
Im learning to make edm visuals on tiktok using primarily Blender. r.EndTimes on ig/rednote, etc.

davinci sucks on linux, but like the one good thing is pirating it is downloading official version and pasting two terminal commands, everything else is hard or impossible to pirate
I have trouble with caching not working, still getting slow playback, masks cause a crash/freeze, turning performance mode off helped across my system tho with crashes, haven’t tested it since, I think the profile was off for my laptop or something, seems to be a common issue.
Most of my games seem fine but I also havent tried vr or any flight sims since I swapped, stopped playing those a while before, most games seem fine, some need like 10 minutes for the shaders to load tho, but ive skipped that and had no issues so idk what thats about
6 months with all amd, no issues caused by cachyos (some caused by me having multiple des lol) I did start using faugus launcher for games and it seems to perform better than what came with it, at least for pirated non steam stuff.
You can grab flatpak and snap support on i easilyt, half my apps are from flathub, and debtap for debs (I wanted to maximize flexibility) I use faugus launcher for non steam games, works well with pirated stuff (opens stuff that wouldnt open otherwise, and is instant)
just try cachyos off a usb, it has a graphical installer, it boots into plasma off the usb, was easier than windows install
its faugus launcher btw
gnome with arcmenu (I like windows like menu - the ads) dash to panel (place window menu at bottom alongside commonly used apps, date/time, and the control center), window thumbnails (pip any window) and a few other plugins is very nice looking imo feela like an os from the future, and its clean, stable. I got kde plasma looking pretty close to it layout wise, drag and drop was a bit more finnicky than enabling extensions and clicking through settings.
I just overall like the look better and it feels better to use, gnome feels like modern de, you can’t just throw something together (someone who knows what they are doing coded those extensions and how it could fit within your layout, they tested it over time) while kde plasma feels like a really feature rich de from 2012, layout placement is up to you to test and figure out, idk how else to explain it in my head
I need to check what its called on my computer but lutris didnt work for me for some pirated games, some other launcher off github I found off a comment on reddit did, might work for that
might be portwine https://github.com/Castro-Fidel/PortWINE pretty sure
wasnt portwine was fauguslauncher
Mightve been one of the other de options for bazzite
this was a few months ago and it launched in a terminal with the options
I prefer cachyos, also cachyos lets me use gparted and like a whole de gui for install off the usb, it was comfortable and easier than windows, bazzite was still a terminal. Felt less “scary” swapping over.
Damn that is exactly what I wanted after seeing the games hwere you build ships like that
like an hour and a half superslow install, cachyos was so fast I thought it was an error
