First thought “mouse mode” was a gimmick, but this was one of the best mobile experiences I’ve ever had.
Also, this is a legit Switch 2 killer.
It has a 8.8” screen, runs at 1600p with a 144hz refresh rate. You can also customize the power draw too.
On top of that, you can connect the “Joy-Cons” together, dock it to a TV—and did I mention mouse mode?
Could someone explain the “mouse mode”? Is it at all different from the Steam Deck’s ability to map trackpads and thumbsticks as mouse inputs?
It turns the right-hand “joycon” (for lack of a better word) into a mouse for FPS games (or whatever else).
Very different. Your controller turns into a literal mouse. Take a look at the pic.

Outside of being handheld gaming systems, the 2 have very little in common and aren’t really comparable. People who buy a Switch will mostly buy it because it’s the only way they can play new Nintendo games without a computer science degree in piracy.
They have very little in common except they’re both handhelds with detachable controls with mouse mode.
Which, you know, means they have a lot in common.
Try Xonotic with gyro aim!
Noice, what OS you running on it ATM?
Right now, it’s Windows 11 but this week I’m putting SteamOS on it.
Let us know how it goes. Tried to put it on my desktop but the boot device wasn’t found and I couldn’t be bothered to investigate.

Can switch2 run games from 26 years ago?
Can it play Nintendo games from 26 years ago?
Yes?
I would like to play HoMM 3 or Unreal Tournament (Facing worlds uwu), or Reaident Evil Code Veronica, or any number of other games, is it still possible 🙃?
If the answer is no, is the Switch 2 dead?
For some people, does it even presents itself as a switch killer and not steam deck killer?
I can play Doom Eternal pretty well too. But I like Quake. ☺️
Now we just wait for Switch 2 emulation and we are golden.
But can it run Crysis?
