Kolibri is an English-German Mixture-of-Experts model with 78B total and 3B active parameters, a context of up to 1M tokens and open weights under Apache 2.0, specialized for sovereign, mission-critical work.

An European open-weight model landed 20 days ago. From what I read, the company is slated to be merged with Cohere, a Canadian company.

I found it on Cortecs, under AKI provider.

Tried it a bit yesterday and seems pretty decent. The benchmarks don’t show it being anything special but still great to see Europe releasing open-weight models.
