This game is pretty fun, particularly if you have people to play with. It’s not groundbreaking or anything but you’ll get $6 worth of value out of it.

It has a neat feature that I haven’t seen many other games employ where if you’ve got multiple monitors, and you’re playing splitscreen coop, it’ll natively display one player’s view on each individual monitor, rather than splitting the view on a single one (or requiring you to change your resolution to an ultra-widescreen one). Quite nice.

Yes, but game needed a way to improve difficulty somehow, once you get guns it gets quite easier. I think either AI needs to use guns more effectively or they need to increase emeny count that try to chase you and hit you, give handicap for being ahead.

The game tries to increase difficulty by letting you choose handicapped characters to start off with, but as long as you get guns it’s easy. If you select characters that don’t have guns, game us difficult but not fun.

That being said even the first few runs you take at it. It’s quite fun and worth 6$.

The handicapped characters are what made multiplayer fun longer-term for me (and my son). We worked our way through all of the character specific win achievements by having one of us take the wildly handicapped one, and the other take a reasonable character and try to protect the other… if playing alone, I imagine the handicapped characters would be more frustrating than fun; the handicaps are just so crippling in some cases.

Agreed with all of your points, basically, but yes, the game is worth $6.

Or if you have the PC Master Race DLC with the character whose stats change depending on your framerate and resolution. I’m sure when the game first came out, that was an interesting character. However, since the game is almost 10 years old basically anyone with a half-decent PC turns that character invincible.
