    This is the classic way of doing basic age verification, I remember it stopping me when I was a kid! I would much prefer this over all of the other iffy ones that collect my ID. I do (mostly) trust my bank/card provider.

    They should have a way round it for those without credit cards though.

    All fine and dandy until your debit card (I don’t have a credit card) won’t remove the age restriction, and there are no other ways to verify, not even the 20 year old PayPal already attached to Steam. (Even accounts over 18 years of age are subject to this BS)

    Another resounding ‘success’ of the Australian govt. :insert eye roll meme of preference:

    Can’t wait to see what a cluster the proposed opt-out of algorithms turns into.

    Haven’t been prompte. Either it’s already happy with my card, or it’s because my steam account is already old enough to drink.
