Yes, it’s true that you won’t be able to access your third-party games through Luna anymore. However, you’ll be able to access those games through the third-party account you had to link to Luna to purchase the game. As an example, if you purchased a game from EA on Luna, then you’ll be able to continue playing that game through EA directly after these changes to Luna’s services go into effect. You aren’t getting refunds because you aren’t losing the games. You’re only losing access to them through Luna, which is fundamentally different from losing the game entirely.
While I wouldn’t have bought games for cloud gaming myself, some consumers likely bought games without other means of playing them and are now unable to make use of their purchased content.
I guess so? But that seems a bit like grasping at straws. They still have access to the games, unlike what the outrage-bait headline suggests.
And even in those cases, they could just switch to a rival service like GeForce Now, which still allows you to import third party libraries for streaming.
Nothing new for Amazon. You should see what they did to everyone’s Comixology collections. I spent good money purposely buying manga from Comixology as they were the only store with high-res copies. Guess who replaced all those books with low-res copies when they shuttered the Comixology servers.

Judging by that, it doesn’t look like people will be losing access to the games they purchased. However they will have to access them via a different launcher from June 10th onward.
This is true but if they purchased it through Luna one would assume they did it because they don’t have a powerful enough PC to run it locally.
I guess they can migrate to Nvidia GeForce now or another cloud service and still use their purchase.
I would argue that the games you purchased (and thus own), and the cloud service Luna offered are two separate things. It is much more difficult to argue that you somehow “own” the hardware of a cloud gaming service than you do the licence of a game you bought.
Amazon is under no real obligation to perpetually offer their cloud service. You are effectively renting server space, and they can stop offering that at any time as long as it is in line with the service agreement.
This is also why I prefer to own my own hardware, and not rely on cloud services. After you purchase hardware it will always be yours.
