As for sharing the steam library, it is not advised. The ntfs drives don’t play nice with gaming on Linux. It will cause crashes and low performance. It is recommended to use Linux file systems like ext4 or btrfs.

For the utilities you want such as hwinfo and fan speeds, check the bazaar store utility section.

I never used the scripts, I used to use it as a front end to make my own prefixes. I loved the interface and ease of settings.

Windows or Console is only way. Until the devs allow it on other OS.

CLI apps are not on bazaar store and this is how you would install them without layering, which should only be used as a last resort.

Does this work for gaming / 3D apps and can it use proton or some for of acceleration?

I tried using wine to play a game but it ran at like 10 fps (direct x9).

Just duplicate your GW entry and then configure it and point the executable to your other program. Then just run it like you would any other game.

You can even put a custom graphic and edit the name.

Those artifacts might be cause by gpu overheating. Can you provide more details of the computer? Check that you have good airflow. What temperatures are you seeing?
