Depends on how patient you truly are. I can recommend Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines from the heart. I don’t even like vampires, nor do I like noire, but this game… It somehow sticks together and it’s a masterpiece. Not the most polished or bug free, but the story, world building, characters, music, atmosphere, everything’s serves the game so well it’s still on my recommend list even some 20 years from its release. Not a small feat.

Oh, come on. I’ve only seen old trilogy and skimmed though the “new” one (Ep1-3), never seen anything else apart from games like X-Wing or SW Kotor.

I don’t find movies to be a holy grail of hollywood, but I somehow love the setting. I’m not really a SW fan at all, but I do love it has so many interesting and spectacular planets/biomes to see, with such exotic names as Kashyyyk or Alderan, plenty different alien species, magician knights jedis of the force, etc. It’s like 5yo kid in me left in a candy store.

I hope the site will get faster too. It’s slow piece of shit now.

This! It might be a different gameplay, but man… this game hits hard in story department. Really, really hard.

What’s that crap you’re talking about? I installed CachyOS about month ago and it’s pretty bare bones out of the box. I’m definitely no minimalist, but compared to some other distros I’ve tried over the years (mint, Ubuntu, tumbleweed, solus, fedora, etc.) it feels almost empty. It doesn’t even include browser or libreoffice at default. Just honestly wondering what’s the bloat.

I have 2 monitor setup. Primary one is 165 Hz VA, the other is 60 Hz IPS as secondary screen for stuff like chat or background video. While the VA has some problems (it can’t catch some particular color changes in needed time-frame), it’s generally much smoother. Not just games, but in desktop workflow too. You suddenly feel your mouse is somehow smoother on one screen and feels choppy on the other. Ever since I got the 165 Hz monitor, I’m constantly thinking of upgrading the secondary one too, just for the smoothness. The only thing holding me back is it’s just more money spent when not needed, but man… the QOL surely is there and is so tempting.

I love how this 8 hour long video is called “a quick retrospective”, lol. Sure the gametime is ten times this at least, but it still made me smile.

Zany golf? Now that brings some nostalgia memories… I remember playing this with my cousin when we were like 6 years old.

In short: The shittiest mfers in gaming industry.

The other half is legacy parts unchanged since Windows XP.
