Too many of my games collection are from Steam, so I don’t think I can get much use out of this, if I’m understanding correctly. If I wanted to prep for the day Valve enshittifies, would I have to pirate the copies of games I own?

How is it that people have unstable Windows installs?? Mine is consistently an unwavering pile of shit.

Lmao nah, it’s not just ram prices and it’s not just game performance. It’s the fact that Windows is an absolute shit pile usability and a bloated spyware with garbage AI that they’ll never get rid of made and distributed by an evil yank corporation. No amount of time will be enough to win some of us back.

Same. I just don’t bother with games that don’t run on Linux anymore. I’ve got so many games, it’s not a big deal if I can’t play some even if I did pay for them.

It’s an American company thriving under a government I don’t agree with. Their taxes enrich the government. It’s the only way I can resist as a single human being.

Honestly, though, it just makes me feel good about myself because I obviously know I alone can’t make any difference.

Because Americans have threatened to make Canada its state, plus all the other bullshit they have been doing around the world to allies.

Why? I don’t wanna spend money on an American platform.

I’m the same. If a game’s not available on the platform I have, I’m not going to go buy one just so I can play it.

That being said, I’m not as passionately against exclusives as some people are on the Internet because it’s just a business decision — as short-sighted as it might be. I just think, “OK,” and spend my money elsewhere.

The fact that it’s on Steam is a no go for me, unfortunately.

Edit: I’m choosing not to spend money on an American platform. I don’t care if Steam is “one of the good ones.”

Does anyone know how difficult it is to swap keyboards on ThinkPads? I wanna get one used but the problem is, most of them don’t have US keyboards since I live in Japan.
