I’m currently running qemu in trixie because one of my bosses demanded me to run office. It was pretty straight forward, but for some reason i had to create a group and do some permissions tinkering for it to work… nothing too complicated. I dont really remember what issues i had with it.

Currently i managed to set a share folder, keys to give orders to the host (mainly to switch back to civilization quickly) and also i convinced my boss that internet isnt working (it’s working from day 0) so she cant force me to use one drive.

Every 2 years or so i buy something new or replace something that was reaching its end… But my current PC still has parts from an old 2007 PC… not many though.

It may be theseus ship by now, but… (dates and compatibility could be off, this is just memory)

The rest is just details… some disc replacement, a new ssd, fan upgrades… well, of course, changing a PS that died…

It was nearly 0.5 to 1 upgrade per year when i was buying intel, now its around 0.25… maybe less

Fun thing, two of my gpus died while running the same game: stalker clear sky… i still blame nvidia

150? I played with 300 ping for years cause servers are only rarely hosted in the south cone.

I remember the day that i started to play on locally hosted servers (teknogods, MW2 and MW3, good times) and ping dropped from 300 to 20. It felt like i was seeing into the future.

My guess is that some people have grown a little to attach to lutris. I’m not acustom to this kind of behavior inside the linux comunity

Thats the cost of a professional mic, not of an “i just need to talk to my friends” mic. And at least wh 1000mx4 comes with 5 mics. The thing is, they arent intended to be used as mics per se but for noise cancelling.

I think its more of a Bluetooth limitation.

Is xbox360 emulator a thing on linux? Last time I used it only a windows machine it was pretty much a “just works”, and i was using some random ass Chinese controller.
