The offline installers are offline. They even contain offline promotions AND require admin to install.

They don’t need permission to make skins. The reason they need it here is because the companion cube is copyright 2006 Valve.

No. You can use Lutris although it appears to be unmaintained. Native GOG games work fine. Even better than the Windows versions do on windows because you don’t need Admim privileges to install for whatever fucking reason

If you want the benefit of a DRM game, yes. Otherwise you still don’t own the game. GOG has removed games from libraries before and will again at some point in the future.

Yes and the DRM free part only matters if you keep a copy of the installer. Galaxy doesn’t do that.

You don’t need GOG galaxy to install and run GOG games. In fact you shouldn’t if you care about keeping your games.
