It’s not the OS they planned on working with for the Steam Deck. It’s nice they supplied drivers at all for those who chose to do so.

Rufus worked for me, at least with the 25H2 image.

TLDR the game needs to have its graphics manually adjusted to run well, which Is why it didn’t get the verified tag yet.

Does Matrix support screen sharing yet? IDK why I’m having such an issue getting a solid answer other places.

I wasn’t super interested in this game to begin with, but I would have at least tried it.
Not happening now.
This is why I kinda hate 8BitDo’s naming scheme. There’s 2 version of the Ultimate 2:
Ultimate 2 Bluetooth-Has the Nintendo button layout and is made primarily for Switch.
Ultimate 2 Wireless-Has the Xbox button layout, and is primarily made for PC.
If you have the Wireless with the Xbox layout, it’s Bluetooth doesn’t register as a Switch Pro Controller, just as a dinput device. It does support the Gyro and analog triggers.
I totally get the frustration with bluetooth, I used a normal switch pro controller for years on my pc and had constant issues with it. That said, I haven’t had any issues with my Ultimate 2 Wireless. I’ve only had it since November, but I haven’t had any issues with it disconnecting.
If you want me to test anything on, let me know and I’ll be glad to :)
8bitdo Ultimate 2 (the non switch one). Supports steam input natively including gyro.
If you connect via Bluetooth, that ultimate 2 just supports steam input natively with the correct buttons displayed, including gyro.
I’m an 8bitdo fan. A couple of them even have native steam input: https://www.8bitdo.com/steam/

For a card released in 2017 for only $230, it’s still very impressing how well it still cooks

I’ll believe it when I see it.

As someone playing this on a 3080 with no major issues, just turn off ray tracing. The game really isn’t that bad once you turn it off.

More info dropped on this if anyone is curious, although it’s still pretty confusing what maintenance mode actually means.

Not surprised but unfortunate. Me and my friend were playing it for awhile, but you couldn’t share quests so we ended up dropping it after maybe a week since we barely could actually play together.
That’s odd. I’ve used a variety of 8BitDo controllers on a few distros through the years with no issues. I don’t have specifically the Pro 2 though.

Me and my buddy got gamepass for a month to try BO6 on our PCs. We didn’t end up keeping it after that (we just don’t care about newer cods that much), but there’s no way we would have tried the game otherwise for the 70$ to actually purchase it.

There’s a launcher called “Minecraft Bedrock Launcher” that’s been working fine for me.

If this was added after launch and actually added new content, yeah sure (maybe), but at launch? No thanks, I just won’t buy your game at all.
IDC which way it goes but it would be nice to standardize it.
