No joke, good for you. Linux has its problems and even though I think they’re worth going through a lot of people don’t. That’s ok. But you can’t deny Windows has its own problems :P

We’re lucky Steam is currently doing good by gamers but when we get a chance to not to be solely dependent on them, you should encourage that.

The more the merrier. Heroics launcher allows GOG to function but it currently feels pretty janky compared to Steam. I might actually use GOG if they create a better UI/UX than they currently have.

Yeah the unthinkable happened. One of my friends switched to Linux and I feel confident this is only the beginning. Microslop finally pushed one of my semi-normie friends to switch. 🎉

Torvalds is the worst person to use as an example for an ordinary Linux user. That LTT computer was built for one thing only, to develop the Linux kernel and not to game.

If he wanted to compare the tweaks made by the distro, he should have used proton experimental for all distros, not just Bazzite. We already know there won’t be much of a difference in performance but he’s literally introducing another variable to compare which makes the comparison less clear on whether performance differences are due to the distro’s kernel tweaks or due to different proton versions.
