131·3 months agoIt’s not really surprising, they’re forcing so many slop tools into ue6 that they don’t want to ruin another engine’s reputation after ue5’s disaster.
They’re not interested in actually doing the thing that would earn positive reputation though, they’d rather hide it

I think some of it is just aging hardware too, a lot of problems are ironed out after launch by adding options and changing defaults.
I was mostly surprised to see the plan to port the game over at all! It does make for a good test of the new engine though

Worse performance is always something I’m happy to see in my competitive online games!

One of my favorite telltale games, I agree with everything you said! The musical intros were my favorite, though I forgave some of the story because that mcguffin was the best mcguffin I’ve seen in a game 😆

Offering servers as a service would be great, so many PC only games that rely on steam’s multiplayer would be easier to port!
They definitely do a lot to earn that 30%, there’s a ton of dev tools for games. Workshop, leaderboards, multiplayer, etc
They’re making mojang and king report directly to her, so yeah they’re going after the casual market
