I haven’t used AI for my own stuff but there’s a huge difference between auto complete and vibe coding.

It was the OP who claimed that a stock price drop would cause companies to stop making all ram of any type.
That’s a definite possibility. But the op proposed that PC component vendors stock price would drop and therefore no one would build PC parts.
Chinese companies could fill the void if Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron are slow to switch back. But there is no situation where companies simply stop taking money. However I believe that after the bubble pops, ram prices will not go back to the same price they were last year. Everyone will have to pay more and Chinese companies will be happy to take that extra money too.

Bubble bursting won’t mean prices will go down significantly. Coin mining doubled GPU prices. When it ended, prices went down around 20%.
I expect the same with everything else. Ram will have doubled and then “crisis over!” will mean a 20% decline from paying triple what Ram cost 6 months ago.
Intel has been beating mid range AMD and low end Nvidia for over a year so it’s worth looking at.

Wow. I’m doing the same thing right now. I bought and installed Skyrim for the first time a few days ago. Then I thought, if I’m going to play it, it should be with all the graphics mods. Which I haven’t figured out so I haven’t played.
There are plenty of mods that change the game to be completely unrecognizable as a mod for Minecraft both in how they play and how they look.
Show me one. I posted several pictures above. Show me a Minecraft mod that is unrecognizable as Minecraft.

A platform isn’t a game. Minecraft is one game. Steam hosts many games. Nintendo hosts many games. There are Minecraft clones as games on the Roblox platform.
Recommending Minecraft as a substitute for Roblox is the same as recommending Minecraft as a replacement for Nintendo.
MCreator is amazing but it still Minecraft. You can create your own items that are crafted with your own recipe or paint a mob to look like soemthing else. Again anyone suggesting Minecraft doesn’t understand that Roblox isn’t a Minecraft clone. It makes no sense to compare a single game to a platform. “Don’t play Nintendo, play Minecraft.” ???
It’s like suggesting that kids shouldn’t play Steam games because there’s Minecraft and they can make their own modded Minecraft.

Quest is good and cheap. You can Sideload apps, run Steam VR and never touch a Meta app.
Doing this actually hurts Meta because it’s assumed Meta underprices the hardware and makes up the difference in software like other consoles. It’s win-win.
